Every year, nature tells us a story.
This year, it asked us for help.

Harvested by us. Inspired by the earth. Created to support those who care for bees and ecosystems.

What we create always comes from the earth.

This year, the earth asked us to do more.

The Simbiota Collection by UPPartner was created to celebrate what nature gives us back when we take care of it.

Over the years, we have shared small symbolic editions with our team, partners, and clients.

But this year, nature spoke louder.

And the message was urgent.

When Portugal burns, we lose much more than we can see.

This summer’s fires consumed 250,000 hectares.
More than 2,000 beehives burned down. Another 5,000 were affected.

And when the land burns, it’s not just forests that disappear:
bees, crops, biodiversity, livelihoods disappear too.

Without bees, there’s no food, no balance, no future.

It was in this context that Simbiota Mel was born

We did something we had never done before

This year, we decided to go to the source of the cycle we want to protect.

This honey was harvested by the UPPartner team, in a joint effort with beekeeper Telmo Cabral.
We visited the apiaries, carefully collected the frames, and extracted the honey by hand, respecting nature and the work of the beekeepers of Arganil, who know firsthand the strength and fragility of a beehive.

It was there, with our hands full of honey and awareness, that we realized this jar could not be just a souvenir.
It had to be the beginning of something bigger.

After experiencing the reality firsthand, the consequence became obvious:

We will support beekeepers affected by the fires by delivering new beehives.

To ensure the highest quality of this support, we have partnered with Casa do Apicultor — a recognized leader in the sector for excellence in beehive production. These sturdy and durable beehives will support the reconstruction of apiaries in the region.

The first 100 beehives are ready for delivery.

Now we want to invite you to continue this story with us.

This honey shows us what nature gives us.
What we do with it is our response in return.
